Our Client

A growing start-up firm serving the on-demand food services industry recognized that it needed to have a compliant human resources infrastructure in place to attract additional private equity investment.

We were hired to address this concern and provide solutions to such critical issues as consistent flux in employee headcount.

Our Approach

We began with a comprehensive review of our client’s human resources-related practices and systems. We identified gaps and trouble spots relating to policies, documentation and procedures.

Once achieved, we provided our client with guidance on addressing issues and specific pragmatic fixes for a wide range of identified gaps.

Further, we provided ongoing HR and escalation support in the areas of policy development and employee relations.

Take-away & Impact: Improving Performance

We assisted our client in establishing HR administrative practices, with significant improvements to delivery and completeness.  We also helped to create digital feedback hubs so employees are supported by a complete Human Resources function and feel empowered to voice concerns.

This enabled the firm to meet compliance standards, limiting their employer’s risk and liability, and making the firm more attractive to outside investors.

As a result of our efforts, our client is now beginning their second capital raise and fielding offers from several private equity firms.
